Building Jobs
Building jobs are physically demanding and many employees of the construction industry work around 37 hours a week, plus overtime. Those with building jobs on major projects may have to work very long hours to meet the deadlines. Working conditions can be very hot in summer and cold in winter, because jobs are often located on muddy building sites. The work is always varied because much of it is project-based, meaning building jobs are carried out in many different locations. The construction industry is currently growing and there is room for tens of thousands of new employees each year. Even though the industry is booming, the amount of building jobs available does fluctuate from time to time.
